This issue has just occured the past few weeks. For some reason, the files downloaded with uTorrent don't appear where they're supposed to, neither can I locate them in any folder when connecting my smartphone to the computer. However, I am able to play downloaded videos/music by selecting the files on the list of downloaded torrents. Video files also appear in the MX Player playlist and can be playbacked.
In conclusion, the torrent files seem to be properly downloaded but are probably stored in a different location with a different name. I've already tried reinstalling the uTorrent app, but the problem still persists. Is there a solution for this? Even if the download location can't be changed, simply knowing where the files are stored would suffice for me.
Conclusion download utorrent
(On a further note, whenever uTorrent is downloading something, my phone (Sony Xperia S) starts lagging tremendously and I'm pretty much unable to multitask. I don't urgently need a fix for this, but if there's one I'd be glad to hear it.)
I also had the same issue with the HTC One X+ the first thing that worked for me was just restarting the phone after I had downloaded what ever files. That worked most of the time but sometimes some files would add and some wouldn't. So I then downloaded ES File Explorer from the play store and all the files were in downloads using that app then I could checkmark an album or video and hit send to and chose where I wanted it to go like music, and it worked. Hope this helps
For Those people who came across this problem after upgrading your android phone or ICS please complete all the remaining downloads in your uTorrent and after all the downloads are complete delete all torrents and then uninstall uTorrent from your phone and power off your android phone wait for 2 minutes then power on your phone, now connect your phone to computer see whether you can see all your files. Then go to playstore and install uTorrent and now your problem must be solved. Now when you connect your phone to the computer you must be able to see all your uTorrent downloaded files.
After doing all these if you are having the same problem then follow these steps go to PlayStore on your phone download MyPhone Explorer client and install it. And on your computer download MyPhone Explorer from this site and install it on your computer. After installing go to your phone and go to settings and enable USB Debugging mode on Developer Options on your phone and run MyPhoneExplorer Client on your phone. Now select Files on MyPhoneExplorer and select memory card now you can see all your uTorrent downloaded files select download or drag and drop the selected file which you want to copy to the computer to desired location. But the coping process takes much more time as it can copy the files at 2-3 Mbps speed. At the same time open your phone memory card and go to download folder of Utorrent, In some phones while you are copying a file using MyPhoneExplorer the files would been seen after few minutes and then you can directly copy it from here since this process of copying is speed from copying it through MyPhoneExplorer.
But what is the relationship between torrent and torrent client? When you want to download files from torrents, the torrent client can analysis the detailed information including name, size, location and others contained in the torrent files and then reach to each uploader to download those files to your computer.

WebTorrent is a new generation of Mac torrent client solutions as it allows not only downloading torrent files but also streaming files (movies, audiobooks, music) from your library via Chromecast, DLNA, and AirPlay with no need to wait for a full download of the file. The client is extremely easy-to-use, has a neat interface, and is excellently integrated into the macOS environment. Drag and drop the streamable torrent into the main window of WebTorrent and the rest will be done by the app.
BitTorrent Classic lets you schedule downloads and assign download priority levels and has a clean, intuitive interface. However, there have been some security concerns reported, with the app flagging up a warning with several antivirus apps.
Free Download Manager closes our torrent client Mac apps list. It is a straightforward yet powerful download manager that has been around since 2004. The app was developed to reduce the time to download files, folders, and archives from the Internet. The work of this Mac torrent client is built on the principles of the BitTorrent protocols. Its ability to split the file into parts and download them in parallel makes it a very powerful competitor to similar software.
The application provides the ability to download an unlimited number of files at the same time, supports reloading, and downloading is performed in several streams, which significantly increases its speed.
When downloading something from the Internet you get used to download files from one server by clicking the "Download" button. With torrents, things are quite different. The file is not downloaded from any single server but is retrieved in parts from many users (so we do not depend on the load and availability of a single server).
However, you still need a server: a server called a tracker is used to track individual elements of the file on the Internet. You also need a torrent client Mac solution - a special program for downloading and assembling the elements of the file together. Those who have the whole file and distribute it are called siders. Those who download, but don't have the whole file yet, are leechers, and together they are called peers.
As soon as one user starts downloading, the uploading is automatically activated, which allows other users to download those segments of the file, which have already been downloaded by the others. Because of this it sometimes happens that the file is in the list but no download takes place because there are no users to distribute it. It often happens that you cannot download a file during the day, but at night it is downloaded because users who have the file are connected.
Choosing the right torrent for Mac client is important and we hope this article provides you with enough information to make a well-considered decision. We do recommend having a closer look at Folx as your torrent program for Mac. The app is versatile, as it can be used both as a downloader and torrent client. It allows creating and uploading a torrent file from Mac to share with other peer-to-peer connection users.
I never knew how to torrent on Mac as it seemed complicated. Then I downloaded Folx and now I can torrent anything I want quickly and easily, and the built-in search and download scheduling make life so much easier! 2ff7e9595c
